Miriana joined Valletta Legal in 2019 as a law student and was later promoted to an Associate after obtaining her Master of Advocacy from the University of Malta in 2019. She was officially admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2020.
Within the firm, Miriana is an integral part of the Corporate and Compliance Departments and contributes her expertise to Valletta Trustees Ltd. While acting as a company secretary for several entities, Miriana further offers guidance to a number of multinational clients in matters related to corporate and commercial law. Her responsibilities include the establishment of Maltese entities, M&A transactions and providing valuable support on corporate governance issues. Miriana is also involved in matters involving trusts and foundations.
With a growing proficiency in regulatory affairs, Miriana provides extensive counsel on compliance matters and anti-money laundering regulations, and adeptly manages cases involving regulatory authorities.
In 2022, Miriana earned a Professional Award in Taxation by the Malta Institute of Taxation and is now a member of the same institute.
