Anna Maria joined the firm as a student in 2011, having previously interned with other local law firms. After graduating as a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2013, she obtained her warrant to practise in the Courts of Malta in 2014. In 2015, she was awarded a Diploma in Financial Services Operations and Compliance. She has been a member of the Chamber of Advocates since 2016. In 2017, she was promoted to Senior Associate at Valletta Legal.
After initially gaining experience vetting titles to immovable property, Anna Maria began specialising in licensed activities, particularly the provision of corporate services, which is currently her main practice area. Throughout her decade-long career, she has serviced and sat on the Boards of various MFSA-regulated entities, specifically in the fields of insurance and trustee and fiduciary services. She is particularly honoured to have recently become a member of the Association of the The Hospital Saturday Fund, a UK-registered charity engaged in invaluable philanthropic work.
In 2021, Anna Maria was invited to be an equity partner of Valletta Legal, which position she assumed in 2022. She looks forward to the firm’s continued growth and success over the coming years, and is very proud to have been involved in its development since the early years.
